Most of the money questions you will come across will ask you to find a total cost, or to calculate change, or both.

You may need to add together two or more different prices:

e.g. £1.99 + £2.98 = £4.97

You may multiply to find the total cost of several items of the same price.

e.g. £19 x 4 = £76

You may need to work out the change from a given amount.

e.g. 

£10 - £3.99 = £6.01
