Topic 9: Money (change)
To work out change, subtract the cost of the item from the amount handed over.
If an item costs £4, and you pay for it with a £5 note, you should get £1 change.
£5 - £4 = £1
The cashier keeps £4 from the £5 you handed over, and gives you the rest back. The amount given back to you is your change.
